Who comes to RomCon™?
RomCon™ is a convention for lovers of romance fiction. At RomCon™, you’ll find readers, authors, and other industry professionals, including publishers, agents, librarians, booksellers, and educators--anyone who has an interest in celebrating romantic fiction.
What’s unique about RomCon™ is that all panels and discussions are geared toward readers. RomCon™ is where authors and industry professionals come to celebrate READERS!
RomCon™ takes place over an entire weekend, Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. Workshops begin on Friday afternoon and continue through Saturday. Friday and Saturday each have a cocktail hour with free appetizers and a cash bar. A seated dinner precedes the Readers’ Crown™ Award ceremony.
Saturday begins early with a full breakfast, kick-off of the silent-auction for charity, then on to workshops, mini-shows, author-hosted events until lunch time (Saturday lunch is on your own).
The fun continues Saturday afternoon with a book signing event, more workshops, mini-shows and author-hosted events. Saturday evening, there’s another cocktail hour with free appetizers and a cash bar, followed by a seated dinner.
Sunday, RomCon™ hosts an elaborate brunch and celebrates readers one last time by closing out all the various weekend-long contests, treasure hunts, and other competitions with great gifts!

RomCon™ Cancellation and Refund Policy:
In the event that you have to cancel your registration, you may do so until one month prior to the start of RomCon. Cancellations that occur between January 1, 2010, and March 15, 2010, are subject to a 25% handling fee.
Cancellations that occur between March 16, 2010 and June 9, 2010 are subject to a 50% handling fee. No refunds will be given between June 10, 2010, and July 9, 2010.
General registrations may be transferred to another attendee up until the start of RomCon. Transfers will be subject to a $25 handling fee. Contact Registrar@RomConInc.com to process a registration transfer. Registrations awarded to Readers’ Crown winners may not be transferred.
Attendees will be required to show proof of identification at the registration desk. No one under 18 will be admitted. Refunds will not be granted for under-aged registrants who misrepresented their age on their registration form.
If RomCon is canceled for any reason, the registration fee will be refunded. Romance Conventions, Inc., will not be liable for refunding any other costs such as travel, lodging, etc.
Any unruly or inappropriate behavior by an attendee will result in the offender being prohibited from attending the remainder of the conference. No refunds will be given for registration or any other costs if an attendee is ejected from RomCon™.
