What is Ascend Law?
Ascend Law is the term used to describe the knowledge that legal service providers must have in order to be able to apply their skills and knowledge to modern business problems. It is more than just the ability to advise clients of relevant legal principles and rules. Ascend law is the interdisciplinary knowledge that is required to help clients achieve business goals and identify, evaluate and mitigate legal risks . It is the addition of business skills such as finance, strategy and communications to legal skills that allows the legal professionals working at the cutting edge of the profession to play a vital role in helping clients structure business transactions, manage and plan for risk and defend against legal claims in a way that also makes sense from a business perspective. It is this interdisciplinary skill set that distinguishes the best lawyers from those who are simply competent.

How Does Ascend Law Represent Its Clients?
Ascend Law LLC was created to address a devastating void in the legal services industry. Law firms and solo practitioners are handling ever-increasing numbers of cases, yet many clients go unheard, are overbilled, or spend money paying for advice that is never given at all. We have set out to change all that. To that end, we have only a select number of clients per lawyer on each case, ensuring that you are never just a number on our filing cabinet. We put our efforts where your needs lie, meeting with you to review all aspects of your case so that all angles are covered and you know exactly what to expect. Many clients feel anxious by the prospect of legal representation because they worry that their bills will be outrageously high without any real results and that they will never have a full understanding of their case or its legal ramifications. We take the time to explain every aspect of your case to you so that you don’t have any surprises upon receiving your next bill, like, "What do you mean it took 25 hours to do discovery!?!" or "What is a Deposition?" We ensure you are as educated as you desire about your case so that there are no unexpected discoveries along the way (ie. bills that you didn’t know about). Our approach to unlimited communication and reasonable billing practices also extends to our ethical practices; we only represent clients that we know we can win for. It is all part of our philosophy that clients should come first in law, instead of being treated like a commodity. We believe that it is vital for our clients to be heard throughout their case and treated as a valued partner, instead of a captive customer. That is what sets us apart from other legal firms.

Ascend Law Case Studies and Client Reviews
Ascend Law boasts a number of long-standing clients who regularly refer friends and family to the firm. A couple of successful cases that stand out are a wrongful termination case, which settled for $750,000, and a class action in federal court against Sprint where multiple class members received over $50,000 each.
"My son was included in a case that went to trial where an aviation manufacturer transferred his engine from one aircraft to another. Amazing how they say that you don’t see enough evidence to have a jury convict someone, but after losing the engine, they terminated my son’s employment. He found an unemployment lawyer who was so great that he immediately connected us with Chuck. After several years, we were even able to settle the case. Again, having Chuck on our side made a world of difference and resulted in a financial settlement we would not have obtained without him," a grateful client said.
"I was offered $8,000 or nothing for having my hand crushed at work in a door. It was a workers’ compensation case and I could have received nothing if I had tried to handle it myself – an attorney like Chuck Davis is a must," said another client.
